Ad creative for DTC brands already testing

Five new hooks.
Every week.

You're not short of an ad. You're short of variants to test. Five fresh openings a week, written to the angle you're running right now, with every claim traced back to your own site before it's spoken.

The standard we shoot at — not a showreel.
01 — The actual bottleneck
Your best ad is
already fatiguing.

Brands that test seriously don't run one ad — they run many variants of the same ad at once, and retire them fast. The bottleneck was never making an ad. It's having the fortieth one this month be worth putting in the test slot.

That's a supply problem, and one hero video a quarter doesn't touch it. We're built around cadence — five new hooks every week, so the thing holding your media buyer up is never the creative.

02 — Where we actually fit

We are not the cheap way to get a UGC video.

There are two good ways to get authentic creator video, and we are neither of them. Both give you footage. Neither gives you direction, cadence, or something built to be tested — which is the part that decides whether your next test cycle has anything worth putting in it.

Option one

A creator marketplace

  • A real human, genuinely filmed
  • Authenticity we can't match
  • Days to weeks per round
  • Reads your brief, not your ad account
  • Repeats whatever claims you supply
Option two

Your own customers

  • Free, and the most trusted footage you own
  • Real faces, real homes
  • Arrives when it arrives
  • Nobody is writing to an angle
  • You can't order a variant of it
What we're for

Hookline

  • Direction — written to the angle live in your account today
  • Cadence — five new hooks a week, on a schedule
  • Testability — swap one beat, keep the rest
  • Every claim traced, or cut
  • Not a real person. We never pretend otherwise

If what you need is one beautifully authentic video, hire a creator — they'll beat us on it. If your own customers already send you video, use it; it's free and it's better footage than ours. We're for the other problem: the forty variants a month that nobody has the appetite to film, and nobody is writing to your current angle.

03 — How we work

Rigour is the product. The video is what it comes out as.

Anyone can generate a talking head now — that part got cheap and it is not what you're paying for. The part that decides whether an ad is safe to put spend behind is everything that happens before the render.

01

We write to your live angle, not last year's

Brands drift, and the old creative stays online long after the account has moved on. We've read live ad sets where the angle being bought today had almost nothing in common with the one the brand's own older material still pitched. Anyone working from a brief written a few weeks ago writes to the stale one. We read what's actually running in your account first, then write to that.

02

Every claim traced back to your own site

Each number gets sourced before it's spoken, and the script ships with a register showing where every one came from — and what we struck out. There's a real one below.

03

Modular by construction

Every spot is three self-contained ten-second beats — hook, demo, proof — each opening and closing on a complete thought. Any one can be recut alone: new hook, new price, new proof point, without rebuilding the ad. That's the mechanism that makes five a week possible instead of five reshoots.

04

We only pitch brands actually running ads

Spend gets verified in the ad library before a frame is made. On our own shortlist, three of the top five were dark — zero active ads, nothing since 2024. They never got an email.

05

Yes, it's AI — that's the least interesting thing about us

Every frame is generated, and it's labelled that way on the ad, in the email, and here. We're not going to dress that up as a principled stand: every tool in this category says the same thing, because it's what they sell. The disclosure is table stakes. What's worth judging us on is the four points above it.

04 — The part nobody shows you

We check every claim. Then we refuse the ones we can't back.

This is a real register from a spec spot we cut — every line the script wanted to say, and what happened to it. Three of them didn't make the cut. The brand is redacted: they're a prospect, not a client, and their claims aren't ours to publish. You get the unredacted one for your own ad.

Claims register · brand redacted 2 kept · 3 refused
"Over 600,000 customers have switched."
KeptTheir own site states the same figure, in the same words.
"Sixty percent off — thirty-six dollars."
KeptTheir site shows $36.00 from $90.00, and 36/90 is exactly 60%. Both numbers are said out loud so they corroborate each other.
"Over 20,000 sold last month."
RefusedNot on their site, not in any live ad of theirs. It was in our own earlier draft and it came out.
"40% off today."
RefusedSimply wrong — the real discount is 60%. A number that flatters you less than the truth is still a number we won't guess at.
"#1 -recommended."
Left outThey run this line in their own live ads. We couldn't substantiate it from their site, and a superiority claim carries real advertising exposure — for them, not for us. Send the backing and it goes straight back in.

That last one is the whole policy. We will not put a superiority claim in your ad until we can stand behind it — even when you're already running it yourself. You're the one whose name is on the creative and whose ad account eats the review. An agency that repeats whatever you hand it isn't being agreeable; it's handing you the risk with a smile.

05 — What working with us looks like

Send a link. Get a batch.

Step one

Send your store link

That's the brief. No shipping samples, no casting, no shoot day. Tell us the angle you're pushing if you like — we'll read your live ads either way.

Step two

We verify, then write

Live creative read, your product photography pulled so what's on screen is actually yours, every claim traced to a source. The register comes attached to the script, before anything renders.

Step three

Rotate, then repeat

9:16, captions burned in, ready for Meta and TikTok AI-content labelling. Tell us which hook moved, and the next five are written toward the winner.

Start with a free one

We'll cut you one, on us.

One spec ad for your product, written to the angle you're running right now, with the claims register attached so you can see exactly what we would and wouldn't say on your behalf. No call, no commitment. If it's not useful, keep it anyway.

There's no showreel on this page on purpose. A finished spot names the brand it was made for — out loud, in the audio — so it belongs to that brand, not in our shop window. The silent clip up top is our own frames; yours would be the one with the sound on. Or just email [email protected].
